So, I had a secret website.
It was secret because I didn't really like it.
I didn't want anyone to see it. Unless it was really necessary.
I got a new website.
And I really like it.
And I want everyone to see it.
So here goes nothin'.

Cousins!!
My kids are in front of the camera a lot. So I can't blame them when they start making faces like this to make things more interesting:

So when we have family in town I have a Hay-day (har, har) and take a gazillion pics of everyone else and then THEY get sick of me and my kids get a teensy bit of a break. (*epiphany- maybe that's why Carter loves having cousins over so much...hmmm...)
Can you believe all these adorable kids are my nieces and nephews (I can take credit for a couple of them, too). They had such an awesome time together and played all day, every day. Here are my favs from the bundle for your enjoyment:

Refer someone who books any session with me and you get a $15 gift card.
Where to?
Wherever you want, my friends.
Just remember to have them tell me you referred them.
The end.

Meet Kevin- Hemet Senior Photographer
Kevin graduates this year.
I swear, wasn't I just 17?? Crazy how fast it goes by. I don't feel any older than this young-one but to him I'm "Mrs. Burk". Wierd.
Kevin is an aspiring artist and has kept my Carter busy during church many times by drawing sweet pictures of Darth Vader, Batman and Spiderman. It's awesome.
We had a lot of fun during this shoot, and since he's artistic I didn't feel like an absolute moron telling him we were going to take a school desk and put it in the middle of a wheat field and take pictures of him sitting on it. He actually liked the idea! Here's how they turned out. (tight pants and all. seriously, what's with this trend?? :)

The Staub's- Hemet Family Photographer
I loved photographing this family. Mostly because they are MY family (and because they are especially good-looking). This is my brother's family who we never get to see enough of (they live 1/2 way across the country in Texas) We had just enough time to get in some pics before it rained on us. Not like a ton of rain- just enough to get us all wet and have to run inside and then it stopped. But it couldn't stop us! We set up a makeshift photo studio with every lamp in their house and took a few more of the girls. Too fun!

WHOO!
Is it hot in here??
This was quite the picture-perfect couple if I do say so. These guys were awesome, awesome, awesome. So natural in front of the camera. We had the best time. Their wedding was last friday at the Newport Beach temple. They were smart and spaced out their wedding and their reception (the next night) so we had plenty of time to get pics at the beach after the wedding and stayed until it was pretty much completely dark. (And I almost got cited for taking pictures on a state beach in California...$1,500 for a first offense. SOO ridiculous.)
But alas, here are a few of the pics we got out of it.
