We went on an adventure (see, with my photo sessions you not only get pictures but a whole picture-taking experience :) We trekked through the woods, got sand in our shoes in the dry riverbed, saw some animal poop... needless to say, it was amazing ;p

Unfortunately for me and my siblings the blue-eye gene got completely beat down by the brown-eye one and I'm pretty sure I'm never destined to have blue-eyed children. So it was such a treat for me to photo these guys with all their gorgeous and stunning blue eyes. They were such a model family and were total naturals.

Some Familiar Faces- Inland Empire Photographer

I got to take pics of these guys last year but our session got cut short because of nasty rainy weather. This year the sun was shining and it was a gorgeous day in Houston for a family session. We started out at home and worked our way downtown for some urban shots and then had a short break at Swirl for some frozen yogurt topped with sprinkles and gummy worms. MMMMMmmmmm (bleh).
Theses little gals are my nieces and they are as sweet as they are beautiful and they were awesome for our long shoot.

A few pics as a 2nd shooter- Hemet Wedding Photographer

WOW, it has been a while and I have photos stacking up on my computer like nobody's business so you'll be sure to see a lot of updates soon.
Last night a friend of mine and her sister were shooting a wedding and I asked if I could tag along for fun and OH MY GOODNESS it was SO nice just being able to shoot creatively and not have to be the one worrying about if all the pictures turned out perfectly. I LOVED it. It was a great opportunity to get some more experience in with no pressure.
The ceremony was at 5, which would have been PERFECT timing....last week before daylight savings. 5 seems like it should be early enough but here in So Cal it's pretty much pitch black by then. I am really really not a flash user but this occasion twisted my arm to put it on which was good because it put me out of my comfort zone. However, about 30 pictures into it I decided to take it off an do with the available light and I got some amazing pictures that way.

I got to take pics of this little guy while on our Utah/Idaho trip. I could not get over his Wranglers and belt. SOOOO cute! We stopped by his family's farm, had lunch and then took some pictures around the farm. It was a gorgeous day. Isn't he the cutest?

My family recently took a trip to Utah and Idaho. It was a photographer's paradise. The colors were GORGEOUS. We don't really get what you would call a lot of "color" in Hemet.
But the good news is that it was 104 the day we left and 70 the day we returned. Quite the nice change. I wish we could say we brought it back with us but the truth is that the weather turned before we came back...so I can't really take the credit. Here are some of my favs from the trip. Enjoy.

I have a couple of trips coming up soon that I am super excited about. I am willing to take on a limited number of sessions at each destination. If you would like pictures please let me know and we'll see what we can work out.
I will be in Utah/Idaho next week through Sunday the 3rd of October.

Then I will be in Houston at the end of October and will schedule sessions on the 28th-30th.
